• System Margin Summary - shows levels of available margin by fuel or by declared offer price, indicating the amount of spare capacity in the system.

What Is Availability?

The levels of availability are identified by declarations of Max Export Limit (MEL) which units are obliged to report accurately and promptly to give the grid and indication of their capabilities and ability to deliver power. This can be used to work out the margin in the system.
